DTMCult Mondays: Don’t Let the Riverbeast Get You!

Our fifth screening at Bay Street Video will be Charles Roxburgh’s and Matt Farley’s Don’t Let the Riverbeast Get You! (2012). In this film, a vicious monster rises from its watery lair and terrorizes a peaceful New England town. Disgraced tutor Neil sets out to prove the beast exists and exterminate it before it can kill more people.

I picked this film because I saw Roxburgh and Farley’s film Evil Puddle (2025) at last year’s Midnight Dankness and had an absolute blast watching it. I’m hoping this film captures the same campy comedy-horror vibes ahead of summer.
