We are the Downtown Toronto Movie Club. Created in 2023 by movie lovers within the city of Toronto.

Ever since then, we have grown to over 1400 members within our Discord server community. We host many in-person meetups for screenings in theatres across Toronto. We also hold film screenings at Bay Street Video and many other events and gatherings.

Our goal is to build a community of movie lovers across the GTA where we can come together to discuss movies and participate in movie-related events happening locally, including TIFF, Hot Docs, the programming at the Revue Cinema and many more.

This website is designed as a community platform. One for us to share our thoughts on films and to provide information on the many events and festivals happening in the city and beyond.
