We are the Downtown Toronto Movie Club. Founded in 2023 by movie lovers within the city of Toronto.

Ever since then, we have grown to over 1400 members within our Discord server community. We host many regular in-person meetups for screenings in theatres across the Greater Toronto Area, film screenings of our own at Bay Street Video as well as other events.

Our goal is to build a community of movie lovers across the GTA where we can come together to discuss movies and participate in movie-related events happening across the GTA, including TIFF, Hot Docs, the programming at the Revue Cinema and many more.

This website was designed as a platform for us to share our thoughts on films in long-form and to provide more information on the many events and festivals happening in the city for our community and beyond.
